Le Bakkal Oriental
AlimExpressApp is a commercial management platform specifically designed for food and grocery wholesalers. This admin back-office application enables efficient management of products, clients, pricing tiers, orders, invoices, credit notes, delivery zones, and payments. Built on Next.js 15, it utilizes Prisma for database management and NextAuth for authentication, alongside various AI SDKs and integration with services like Twilio, Resend/nodemailer, and S3 for file handling. On the customer-facing side, AlimExpressCatalog provides two distinct user journeys: B2C for individual consumers, allowing them to browse products, place orders, and track delivery; and B2B for professional accounts, enabling access to tiered pricing, proforma generation, order validation, and invoice downloads. Both platforms are on a roadmap to fully support Arabic RTL interfaces.

The Problem
Le Bakkal Oriental is a food wholesaler that currently manages its commercial activities largely through manual processes. Products, prices, clients, orders, and invoices are dispersed and handled manually, leading to three major challenges:
- High manual workload: Each order, quote, and invoice requires repetitive and time-consuming data entry.
- Frequent pricing errors: With standard rates for individuals and four distinct professional levels (C, D, E, F), applying the correct price to the right client often results in costly mistakes.
- Lack of visibility: Clients have no means to access the catalog, know product availability, place orders, or track order status independently.
Project Goal
Le Bakkal Oriental is a traditional oriental grocery and wholesale business going digital. The goal is to replace scattered spreadsheets and manual paperwork with one platform where every product, price, and order lives in a single source of truth.
The platform serves three types of users:
- The team → less manual work, no pricing mistakes, and orders, invoices, and tracking all in one place.
- Everyday shoppers → a clear catalog where they can browse, order in a few taps, and follow their delivery from confirmation to doorstep.
- Professional buyers → a dedicated space with personalized pricing, proper quotes, and invoices ready to download anytime.
